AI-HUMAN LEADERSHIP
AI-Human Leadership is the capability to manage the new team dynamics that emerge when AI changes how people judge, decide, trust, take ownership and see the value of their own contribution, so that more of AI’s potential is translated into stronger team performance and greater organisational value.
This is not about leading AI transformation or encouraging AI adoption in general. It focuses on the point where AI value is actually realised or lost: what happens inside teams once people start working with AI.
Unlike many previous technology changes, AI can become part of judgment and decision-making itself, creating specific leadership situations around reliance on AI, human judgment, ownership, accountability and the value of human expertise.
When these situations recur across teams, they become an organisational performance issue, affecting AI use, decision quality, accountability, the ability to scale AI-enabled work and ultimately the value realised from AI investments.
Most leaders have never had to manage these specific situations before. The capabilities and playbooks developed for previous technology changes are therefore not enough on their own.
I help organisations build this capability so leaders can manage these dynamics effectively, strengthen AI performance and realise more value from AI across teams and the organisation.
